I am a Georgia born and raised girl, however I have lived in Florida, Texas, and Ohio. I have two Labrador Retrievers Hershey and Henry, a Great Dane named George, plus four goldfish--Bob, Pinky, Spot and Wally.

My background includes a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Geography and minor in Geology from Valdosta State University. I also have a M.Ed. in Instructional Technology from Valdosta State University. My work history includes many years teaching in post secondary education, Information Systems Manager in Surgical Services for a health system, the travel industry, and also Geographic Information Systems.

Favorite past times include spending time with close family and friends, bike riding, walking my dogs, working in the yard, cooking southern style, reading (authors Clive Cussler, Jeffrey Archer, Stuart Woods, and Jack Higgins are favorites), and watching SEC Football. GO DAWGS!!!
